Ocean Magic

The ocean is captivating.
Vast and terrifying in size,
Yet humbling and calming.
Don’t be fooled,
By it’s beauty or wonder.
Respect the waves.
For they will crash,
And the riptide is not forgiving.
When the tide recedes,
It will give way,
To the sparkling sand,
Once again.

New York City is a magical place.
The lights, the sounds, the excitement.
The city at Christmas is even better.
But here’s a fine line between magic and reality.
Be careful not to walk the line to close,
for you could fall to either side
and be lost forever.
